My Neighbor Is Absolutely Disgusting
This one takes the cake
I’ve had my newest place about a year and a half. I do have ‘interesting’ neighbors throughout the complex. Though I have joyfully interacted with the general public most of my life, I’ve enjoyed a much more reclusive style lately.
I probably would not set foot outside some days if it weren’t for walking my sweet doggie and feeding the birds, squirrels, and rabbits off my back porch.
I’ve never really had issues with not getting along with people in my immediate community. Someone just crossed me and crossed the line.
My first set
I am an exceptionally tolerant person.
The first neighbors I had next door were a sweet mother and her adult son with long-term mental illness acquired from years of extreme drug abuse. He was always outside, creating altercations, selling drugs at the corner store, yelling and screaming inside their apartment, and having police called to our shared doorstep on multiple occasions. I had compassion and empathy for him and especially his mother. He never actually bothered me. To the surprise of no one, he picked a fight with the wrong person, one of our landscapers, and they were eventually evicted. Their apartment gloriously remained empty for over 6 months.
